As a clinician-in-training at Mala, you receive:
Support and guidance from a qualified trauma-informed supervisor
Weekly group supervisions on various topics from experts on relationship counseling, play therapy, neurodiversity, parenting, high risk care, art therapy, trauma, anxiety, and mood disorders.
Monthly trainings on professional development skills, ways to engage in self-care, and ways to work through our own egos to provide the best clinical care possible
Monthly training on various topics aligning with our monthly DEIA events
Insight and feedback to begin your career on the right foot
Reimbursement for attending local and national conferences and training events
We apply the Guidelines of Supervision from the American Psychological Association throughout our trainee/supervisor relationships to make sure you receive the best clinical experience possible.
