Doug Gardner LMSW, RPT

Clinical Social Worker & Supervisor

Plymouth & Online

The family is the environment in which we develop, grow, learn, and prepare for life. Helping a family to be as strong and stable as possible is one of the greatest services one can provide. I am honored and humbled to have a part in helping your family to be a little stronger and more stable.

As a Registered Play Therapist, I believe in the power of art, play, sand tray, books, pretend, and creativity in helping an individual to be able to express themselves. Play therapy allows my clients to be able to explore and process difficult emotions and experiences by facilitating communication, increasing personal strengths, fostering emotional wellness, and enhancing social relationships.

In addition to providing psychotherapy services, I also provide supervision and training to social work practicum students and social work post graduate fellows at Mala.

I am accepting clients of all ages, racial, cultural, religious/spiritual backgrounds, sexualities, and sexual orientations.
