Get to know Jess

  • “What we know matters, but who we are matters more.” – Brene Brown

  • From a young age, I knew I wanted to help people. My own experiences have drawn me to the therapist profession. As a therapist, I pride myself on facilitating positive change with my clients so they can improve their overall quality of their life.

  • As a therapist I take an integrative approach that is influenced on mindfulness practices, as well as person-centered and cognitive-behavioral theories. My approach varies from client to client as everyone’s needs are different. Outside my modalities of choice, I acknowledge each person in their environment and seek to understand how their systems (family, school, culture etc.) influence their understanding of themselves and their environment.
