Ann Arbor Open House

Thank you to everyone who came out to support our Ann Arbor open house on October 18th, 2024! We are incredibly grateful for the love, encouragement, and shared excitement for this new chapter.

Building a neurodiversity-affirming and trauma-informed clinic has been a dream, and it wouldn’t have been possible without the dedication of our team, partners, and community. Our Ann Arbor clinic is a place where clients can receive medication management, occupational therapy, psychotherapy, school advocacy, and psychological evaluations—all under one roof. This integrated approach allows us to provide holistic care tailored to every individual’s needs and provide even better training to our trainees.

Thank you for believing in us and joining us on this journey to create a safe and welcoming space for healing and growth. Together, we’re making a difference.

Ann Arbor Pride

Ann Arbor Pride has long been a celebrated festival in Ann Arbor, Michigan, dedicated to honoring the LGBTQ+ community. The festival highlights the rich diversity and resilience of the population through a variety of events, performances, and activities.

In 2024, Mala Child & Family Institute was honored to participate in this cherished tradition. Our involvement allowed us to stand proudly with the community, celebrate the progress achieved, and support the ongoing journey toward equality and acceptance. Engaging with attendees, celebrating diversity, and reinforcing our commitment to fostering a supportive and inclusive environment for all was truly rewarding.

Plymouth Pride

In June 2024, Mala Child & Family Institute had the privilege of participating in Plymouth Michigan’s first-ever Pride Festival. This vibrant event celebrated the LGBTQ+ community with a diverse array of activities, including food trucks, local vendors, informational booths, live music, performances, and drag artists.

We were honored to be part of this new tradition, which provided a wonderful opportunity for us to engage with the community and celebrate this joyous occasion. The festival marked a significant step forward in promoting diversity and inclusion, and we were proud to support and be a part of this meaningful celebration.

P-CCS 3rd Annual Mental Health and Wellness Fair

In April 27 2024, Mala Child & Family Institute had the privilege of participating in the P-CCS 3rd Annual Mental Health and Wellness Fair. This event was formed by P-CCS after the devastating events of the Oxford Shooting. It is dedicated to bringing awareness to mental health and reducing stigma, offering the community lots of free resources and activities for children and families. We were honored to once again be part of this amazing event!
