Michele Varady, MSCP, LLP
Psychologist
Farmington Hills & Virtual
I am a warm and adaptable therapist dedicated to helping clients of all ages uncover the emotional blocks that may be keeping them from living a fulfilling and passionate life. Whether I’m supporting a child through play therapy or helping an adult navigate deep emotional pain, I see my role as a guide, walking alongside you through struggle, uncertainty, and growth.
My approach is rooted in the belief that healing begins when we build trust within ourselves. I help clients move toward self-awareness, emotional resilience, and renewed purpose. “The awareness of our true self is the master of all situations.”
With children, I use the language of play to help them express themselves, process trauma, and build skills in emotional regulation, communication, and problem-solving. Play therapy allows children to work through complex emotions and experiences in a way that feels safe, natural, and empowering.
I work with children, teens, adults, and couples facing a wide range of challenges including depression, anxiety, addiction, ADHD, bipolar disorder, grief and loss, autism, and relationship or intimacy issues.
My curiosity about the psychological mind and behavior began when I faced my own adversity as a child and found the inner strength to prevail. I bring that same spirit of compassion and non-judgment to my work, believing we all make choices based on the tools we have at the time. Together, we’ll uncover new coping strategies, shift patterns that no longer serve you, and build the emotional foundation you need to thrive.
