Krishna Jakkula PMHNP-BC, APNP-BC
Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner
Farmington Hills
I hold a Master's degree in Human Development and later pursued a career in nursing, earning a Master's in Adult Primary Care working in internal medicine and cardiology. Driven by my long-time passion for psychiatry, I went on to obtain certification as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. I began practicing psychiatry and thoroughly enjoyed every moment of it. During my clinical experience at the Mala Child and Family Institute, I became deeply connected to their mission, vision, and values. I've since decided to join their team once they initiate their medication management program. I have found great support and collaboration at the Mala Institute. I enjoy speaking with my patients and their families, educating them about their health and how to take care of themselves. I am passionate about continuing to learn new things in my field. Taking care of my patients and pursuing my passion for psychiatry is something I deeply cherish.
