Does your child or adolescent struggle with anxiety, obsessive thinking, or perfectionistic tendencies? If yes, I can help both you and your child learn new skills to foster healthy thinking and development. I am passionate about working with children and adolescents with anxiety, OCD, and histories of trauma. I value the importance of providing a safe, warm, and empathetic environment to establish a secure therapeutic relationship with each of my clients. I believe that childhood and adolescence are sensitive and important periods of development, and that each individual should be met where they are, while providing the tools and support to allow them to move forward.
Coping with our difficulties - especially in childhood - can feel impossible. With the infusion of play, art, mindfulness, and other creativity-based strategies, I help clients learn to live with uncertainty while being gentle and understanding with oneself. Your child will learn the skills to build their self-confidence along with their coping toolbox, while understanding their difficulties with increased self-compassion.
As someone who has experienced the intrapersonal and interpersonal difficulties that come with OCD and anxiety first-hand, I appreciate how challenging this work can be. I bring enthusiasm to each session and take pride in my creative, innovative, trauma-informed, and culturally sensitive approaches to care. No two individuals are alike, and I believe that therapy should be approached with this in mind. I work with parents, teachers, and caregivers to provide a holistic approach that allows for integrated care in each area of your child or adolescent’s life. I utilize various treatment approaches depending on the client’s needs, including: play therapy, art-therapy, mindfulness, psychoeducation, CBT, DBT, and more.

I strongly believe that everyone has the ability to become the greatest version of themselves, no matter the cards they are dealt. I chose to dedicate myself to the field of psychology as I want to be a force in helping others to heal and understand themselves on a deeper level, while also working to break down the stigma surrounding mental health.

I love that therapy offers the opportunity for individuals to explore themselves in a way that no other space really offers. I enjoy being able to work collaboratively with my clients to foster growth, resilience, and self-discovery. Every individual is different, and I am honored to be able to provide a space where others can share their stories while feeling heard, accepted, and understood.

I love being able to work with each of my clients to identify what works best for them in session. I utilize a variety of different approaches including talk therapy, play, art, and various forms of self-exploration. The therapy room is the client's space to get to know themselves on a deeper level, and I am here to help guide that experience while offering a sense of connection, empathy, and safety.

I am passionate about working with those who have experienced trauma and/or adverse life experiences and allowing them to process the difficult emotions that may come with that. I also hope to have an impact on reducing the stigma surrounding mental health and going to therapy. We are all human, and it is always okay to ask for help.
