Hi! Sharmista here. Thank you for checking out my profile!
I hope reading about me will help you figure out whether you’d like for us to work together. I am also happy to offer a free 15 minute phone consultation to determine if we would be a good match for each other.
I am a fully licensed social worker, and I aim to provide an emphatically supportive atmosphere, where you can confidently feel at ease and begin to look at the situation from a fresh, new perspective. My intentions are to bring my full knowledge, care, and compassion to my work as we work collaboratively to build a strong relationship, ensure your strengths are realized, stressors are managed, goals are achieved, and methods of facing future adversities are learned. I love utilizing a holistic and integrative approach to psychotherapy where I use evidence-based models in my mental health services.
I welcome clients from all gender identities, sexual identities, and religious/spiritual orientations. I truly appreciate the complexity that has led clients to our office, and I find it such a privilege and honor to hear and to hold people’s stories with them.

What is your favorite quote?
“For what it’s worth… it’s never too late or too early, to be whoever you want to be. There’s no time limit. Start whenever you want. You can change or stay the same. There are no rules to this thing. We can make the best or the worst of it. I hope you make the best of it. I hope you see things that startle you. I hope you feel things you’ve never felt before. I hope you meet people who have a different point of view. I hope you live a life you’re proud of, and if you’re not, I hope you have the courage to start over again.” – F. Scott Fitzgerald
