
Alexis Fraser is a clinician at Mala. She completed her Master’s degree at Wayne State University, and plans to pursue a doctoral degree in Counseling Psychology with a specialization in Infant Mental Health. She is passionate about working with young children and families, especially those who have experienced trauma. At MCFI, Alexis is involved in providing comprehensive psychological evaluations and therapeutic services.

Why did you decide to become a mental health professional?
I decided to pursue the field of psychology as I find it to be the most fascinating. As human beings, mental health is something that we all experience in one way or another, and I want to be a force in breaking down the stigma attached to mental illness.
